Small Arms - Ethan Allen & Co of Worcester, Mass, pinfire revolver, manufactured approximately 1870, .22 caliber, exposed trigger, steel frame with case hardened finish, cylinder stamped with matching serial number, original rosewood birds head grips, case hardened 2.5 inch octagonal barrel with nickel sight blade, top stamped "Ethan Allen & Co., Worcester., Mass," all matching serial numbers including the grips and cylinder, s#11176. A fabulous piece for the Ethan Allen collector.
CONDITION:
Good action and timing however the cylinder will not advance unless the revolver is upright; excellent overall cosmetic condition, good bore with strong rifling and light pitting, dark brown tones to case hardened finish, several small dings on frame and barrel as well as scattered areas of oxide, pitting and finish loss; grip strap with several light dings; grips with numerous small dings, small chip to right side grip.
